A fragrant cherished pleasure. Louisiana's Gumbo is a traditional Creole dish made with a dark smokey Roux as its base. 

Like a Gumbo, the images in this portfolio present themselves as various ingredients that, when mixed, become a cultural stew of infused visual language.

Filling and rich, Gumbo's Virtue sustains and reveals the spice of meaning and memories. This fusion feeds the recollections that grow in the backyard of my youth. The aroma of my Louisiana always contains food, which carries the imagery and circumstances of my past.
